Default Anyone in Trinidad?

Am trying to find someone in Trinidad that would take a quick look at a boat for me....have located one I want to buy if it is in any kind of decent shape. Your kindness would be repaid with prodigous amounts of rum based adult beverages when I get there in person.

I'm reminded of the universal proverb 'You get what you pay for'. Why not call Powerboats (or another yard of your choice) and request a referral to one of their more experienced employees who has expertise in the areas about which you are most concerned (e.g. structures, electrics, engine) and offer that person a bit of money to do a bit of work for you? If an honest answer is that you don't yet know if examining this boat is worth any money to you, that reality may also describe the quality of the info you'll get back.
