Aloha from Kauai Hawaii

I am looking for a part for my boom.

I own a 1967 columbia 26' and broke my gooseneck on my last sail. I have a furler type boom which rolls up with gearing and a handle (that I dont use for reefing)

The part that broke is an aluminum slug about 4" long that swivels on the end of my boom and inserted into my mast slot and adjusted up or down w/ stopper slugs.

I can't seem to find that piece anywhere, especially on this little island. If anyone has any ideas where I might be able to locate such a part or have any fabrication tips, I would greatly appreaciate it.

Thanks

Jeremy
