Getting down to more important matters, the rout of the Lions was pleasing to say the least, but the Wallabies are still lurking in the background and the jury is still very much out!
As regards your half-pied sentiments concerning NZ it might interest you to know that in the latest year UK immigration has more than doubled to 15,000 odd. More to the point, of the 29,000 Lions fans
who just recently visited NZ, some 3000 made enquiries about permanent residence. Quite frankly from my point of view that is heartening stuff, because the Lions supporters (if I may generalise for a moment) were the most fantastic visitors NZ has ever had. They were passionate about(though sadly let down by ) their team, fabulous sports, great party people, and even greater spenders. The whole of NZ is unanimous on this point(the message: some things are greater than Rugby!)
