Wow - over 17 pages to read after a long and "interesting" 2-handed (no autopilot) delivery from the Virgin Islands to Norway via Azores and UK. Thank Goodness for the "view new posts" button!!

Meanwhile - I'd better sort out my Profile!!

Regards and safe sailing to all, Tony

Ah, well, Hud - it'd take up too much band-width, I'd have to consume far too much rum in the re-telling, and it could be considered to be "self-promotion"

No new lessons learnt - just re-inforcement of a couple of old ones: 1. Jump on small defects as soon as you see them. Its not normally catastrophic failure that ruins your whole day, but a series of little things which perhaps you were to idle to sort out which then bite you in the **rse. 2. Dont Panic. If the floorboards are floating - there's usually a simple reason....systematically hunt down the leak (in one instance it was a split seawater intake hose for the engine cooling water). 3. the 6 P's (Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance).
