Default I dont get no respect

The boss looked over my shoulder the other night and asked me since when had I become a Rear Admiral? I explained that apparently you start out as an ensign and move up the ranks the more posts you do.

I also reminded her that even with my new ranking, she still refused to tug her forelock in the traditional naval mark of respect when she passed me on board Mico.

Without a moments hesitation she replied:

'Tell me when you make Grand Poo Bah and I might just resist kicking you in your rear - Admiral or no!

When I served in the military I hated it and its mindless discipline. In my cruising life I practice democratic principles, whenever applicable, and stay away from the navy. I am not at war but I am for fun. The boss is free to either stay ashore or come along. She does both.

This being my first post, I will try and not ruffle the feathers of a Rear Admiral.

However, if a yacht has 2 captains, as some do, how difficult may it be for a pair of admirals?
I guess one should look after their 'Rear' and the other should look into the 'Vices'.[if they haven't already]

Good luck

Arrhh Mate, surely yee was not expecting anything different I am on Admiral number 3 and the only thing common with all three is the lack of respect I may be a qualified captain but Annette will always be at least two ranks ahead.
Cheers
Rob & Annette
Hope you guys had a great xmas and new years Shaun
