Friends Romans, Fellow Mariners, I am in Deltaville VA with a blown motor (78 honda 4 cycle with choclate milk in engine instead of oil) I doubt if it is worth repairing. I need a 10-15 hp engine in used but good condition that I can afford. Should have shift and throttle control set up but can work around that. As I am stranded here it should be in local area. Thank you readers.

I know you've likely already tried it but look at the craigslist.org ads in cities, towns nearby you.

I have a friend in Sharps VA (on the Tappahannock River above Deltaville) and I'm not sure if he's closed up his house yet (he lives in DC in the winter) but even if he's gone, he knows many local boaters in that area. I have PM'd his phone number to you and suggest you give him a call.

Best of luck!

Al,

My friend in Sharps, VA called me this morning to say he'd found a used outboard and would be meeting you (I think) later today. David and I hope that all goes well with the install on that or any other outboard and that you can be on your way soon.

Let us know how it works out and good luck to the remaining leg of your trip,
