Default insurance for passages

I have several deliveries going on this year which I am not getting paid for. Does anyone have an details of insurance companies that offer annual policy. Do most standard companies exclude offshore sailing as high risk. I am a uk resident.

thanks for your help

Hi Matey,

I'm assuming you are talking about personal insurance as the boats you deliver are not your own and hopefully are covered by others?

If so - then Pantaenius do have private insurance cover for UK residents - incl health cover. They do a trip policy or a monthly sub type policy which I believe may suit your needs.

They are at http://www.uk.pantaenius.com

Cheers

JOHN

Hi Ben

Suggest you have a chat to Dave Mair from the Marina Shop in Opua NZ

email david@marine-insurance.co.nz

He just put a package togeather for me on the back of Lloyds and was very competitive

cheers
