I am looking to film a documentary at the end of this summer, capturing a transatlantic journey from NYC to any port city in France. I want to try and work on the boat as part of the crew if possible as well will need enough deck/work/whatever space to paint some large canvases. The film crew will be around 4 to 6 people then myself. If ANYONE has ANY information on who I can contact in regards to obtaining a ship/crew/captain/boat I would greatly appreciate it.

Best regards,

Conrad Dornan

So what's different about this request from the previous one and the advice given there?

It seems to me that to achieve what you are saying you want, you need to charter a large boat - 7 of you plus skipper and crew = minimum of 11 on board. Are you prepared to pay what it's going to cost - excess of $35K, could easily be double that!
