martec folding prop

i have an old 30 ft. northstar and i have brought a used martec folding prop from a 30 ft catalina have not installed it yet. any comments?

You wasted your money. IMO

I have a cat that used them. Great for sailing. Unfortunately they produce a vibration when going forward and produce NOTHING when going in reverse, including propulsion. You'll learn to hate this.

I'm now using Kiwi feather props. Great reverse, great forward and great sailing. Blade replacements are very cheap in case you damage it.
