Good question, and no, alone it is not, in my opinion. Your best bet would be to take a look at the NADA, and BUC, and then check www.yachtworld.com or other online sources for comparative pricing on your prospective boat. I would pay particular attention to the boats in your general area, region, whatever as pricing does have a tendency to fluctuate over large geographic areas. Once you have that done, average those prices out...and, if possible, have a competent surveyor that works for you (figure on spending $350 or so for his/her services) help with the determination as to what you both feel the boat is worth, based on all of the above.

Hope this helps.

Ron, I feel like I'm getting into a ongoing discussion, so I want verify it the NADA that your talking about is an Ingrid 38, previously owned but Nigel Calder. If so I can tell you a bit more about that boat and her possible value.

PM me if you like.

Steve

I think they're talking National Automobile Dealer Association (NADA) like...blue book...

Is Nada, the Ingrid 38 on the market? That would be a nice one to own!
