Good question, and no, alone it is not, in my opinion. Your best bet would be to take a look at the NADA, and BUC, and then check
www.yachtworld.com or other online sources for comparative pricing on your prospective boat. I would pay particular attention to the boats in your general area, region, whatever as pricing does have a tendency to fluctuate over large geographic areas. Once you have that done, average those prices out...and, if possible, have a competent surveyor that works for you (figure on spending $350 or so for his/her services) help with the determination as to what you both feel the boat is worth, based on all of the above.
