Pakistan anyone ?

Hi anyone out there ever sailed into Karachi? Any advice welcome.

Never sailed to Karachi but have been there a couple of time for work. Why would you want to Karachi? I suspect that showing up with a Yacht would redifine the dimension of red tape.

Tks. I to am going there for work (long period) and was wondered if I should take my yacht. From all I've heard the answer is clearly NO!!!! Appreciate your response.

Why does anyone want to sail anywhere! If there is safe passage, a decent waterway and a good anchorage, I say take the boat.

Safe passage,decent waterway,good anchorage,and most importantly the availability of a cold beer! No cold beer,forget it.

Makes me wonder what I am doing in Yemen. No beer either warm or cold, no pork scratchings to go with it, no lightly dressed "eye candy". Thank godness I can spent the coming summer sailing in Denmark and Norway!

Pakistan I know... no cold beer no pretty sights, as they all look the same in long black robes reminds me of walking guiness bottles...

I'll leave my boat in Seychelles earn the dollars then go sailing for a long long time...

Just the thought of free time at the endof it should get me through the next few months. Thanks for all your responses.
