Hello to all,

I am thinking of buying a Pearson Triton and hope to find some owners that have the same boat.

Let me hear from you and tell me about any upgrades you have done to the boat.

Thanks

I haven't owned a Pearson Triton but looked one over for my son. What I remember was it had an Atomic 4 engine that needed replacement. Plenty of room for engine access/removal (in this model, anyway).

There was some deck/core de-lamination at the corners of forward cabin trunk, out to the deck rail. I suspect this was from too much stress from an over tightened rig. Not a major repair if the core didn't get soaked and only the deck glass requires replacement in that area.

That was my observation. Further evaluation of the problem might have revealed a problem with structure between the chain plates and deck.

Another person purchased the boat and the only repairs I noticed was the deck glass repair.

Life lines and rails were rather low for on deck work.

Nice lines and plenty of cockpit room for a family and should make for a nice coastal cruiser. Nothing I would take off shore for any long passages.

Just my opinion, FWIW.
