As I continue my search for a sailing adventure, what things should I be aware of and what questions do I need to ask before signing on?
Some things that come to mind is pay. What it will cost me, or in a perfect world, how much they will pay me.
Also, insurance on the boats passengers or crew?
Visa preperations...
As you may well know, I am new and am specifically thinking of a post where someone mentioned to watch out for yourself and ask the right questions ahead of time. Thus, eliminating any surprises. I know the sailing community is a good one, but I also dont want my enthusiasm to blind my better judgement.
So let em' rip. What should I know and ask before I buy that plane ticket?
