Question

While in Long Beach this weekend, we saw Roy's new modifications to Pywacket as he pulled up to our neighboring guest dock. It seems that Roy has leased back his boat from the Orange County Sailing School to make a run at this years Transpac getting started yesterday.

He added 8 feet and some wings at a reported cost $1.1Million!

OK, he puts over a million bucks into his boat for a race and then decides at last minute not to sail!? Must be nice to have that much money...

Disney, unfortunately, won't be sailing at all in what would have been his 16th Transpac.

"I just decided to let the younger guys do it," Disney, 77, said Sunday morning, "and I'm making a movie, anyway."
