Default Shower

I have been a fan of the black plastic bag solar shower for decades. I now wonder if this venerable standard has been eclipsed.

This is being offered as the latest and greatest: OCEAN ACCESSORIES RinseKit Wash Down Portable Pressurized Shower | West Marine

The reviews (three only) give it a thumbs up and it's certainly cheap enough. Does anyone have experience with this and more important, how does it work?

It says there is no pumping and no batteries. Is it perhaps dependent on mains power to charge an internal battery?

It sure looks good.

Interesting. Doesn't look good to me because it requires storage of itself as a hard unit rather than rolled up as a shower bag can be.

Works by "storing the pressure of a household spigot". In other words, you need a tap to fill and pressurize it.

RinseKit | Pressurized Portable Shower System

Good idea but just something to find a place in the boat. Also, needs to be filled from a domestic pressurised tap and does not heat the water. Stick to your black bag solar shower!

We used a garden pump up sprayer as a shower. You could paint it Black and leave in the sun - Kiss !
