Red face

The CruiserLog weather forum board MARINE STORM WARNINGS is now in full swing. The weather board is designed to give world cruisers early warning of severe weather in the tropics. It is also a board for us all to learn more about the topic - something that interests us all and we can never know TOO MUCH about.

Great news is that we have a new furum member (StormW) who is able to assist us with just about everything we ever wanted to know about weather (when he has the time). "StormW" will try to log in every day so if you have any questions please post them to "Weather Discussions" on the Weather board. We all look forward to his invaluable input on a subject that mystifies most of us.

Check out the WEATHER boards.

Please note that this "Weather" board does not negate your obligation to check your local, up-to-date weather information from the official sources.

I don't know how many here have been reading "StormW"'s daily weather synopses on our Weather Discussion board at:

DIRECT LINK

They are brilliant!

I would suggest that all sailors check in there daily.

Yeh. It is great isn't it?

Damn fine job StormyW. I take my hat off to you

Methinks it is much appreciated by very many. The word will soon spread and we will receive many more visitors.

Aye

Thank you for the plug. I'll try to update Mon.-Sat. If a storm threatens, then I'll try to be on Sunday's as well.

Looks like a storm system starting to develop in the East Atlantic.

See the RSS feeds.

Do you have HF email reception? If so, you can "subscribe" to that particular board and you will receive a daily (lo-fi) email (daily diary) sent from this forum. Test it.

To subscribe to a forum: Click on "Forum Options" (top R/H side of a particular forum) - then click on "Subscribe". Then select "Daily Digest".
