Hi there. As said above, I am 25 years of age, male, Irish but currently living in Sydney. The majority of my employment experience has been in the hospitality industry, working in bars and restaurants, but I have experience with small/large power tools (I study sculpture in college), heavy lifting and cleaning. I also have some experience with computer work. The only work I have ever done on a ship was actually underneath one, applying new fiber glass and anti-foul on a water taxi. I am physically fit, health conscious, non drinker, non smoker, easy going but hard working. Tidy.
As said above, I'm willing to work for passage. I'm hoping to find some way to get from Sydney to China (China is my ultimate destination, but somewhere along the way such as Singapore is good. Anywhere I can get a boat to China from). While I'm hoping to work on a ship or yacht in order to accrue experience, I have to be honest and say that my main reason for hoping to travel this way is a fear of flying.
Anyway, hopefully I'll hear from someone and don't worry, the sooner the better as regards embarking.
