Smile Circumnavigation

Hi,

In May I'll start my circumnavigation from Montenegro to Italy, France, Spain, Gibraltar, Canaries, then to Caribbean, South America and South Pacific. My sailing partner got sick, so I have to look for somebody else.

I need a non smoker, easy going person to sail and to see as much as possible. I plan lots of stop overs.

You need to share the essential costs, as we will travel economic way.

Hope to find somebody,

Ahoy,
Waldek

Shouldn't you mention more info about your boat first?

Default Circumnavigation

Hi,

The sailboat is Inerga Puma 38. She is sturdy, ocean going boat with several crossings of the Atlantic. It has four berths, but can sleep up to six crew. Well equipped with roller jib and main, windvane, autopilot, watermaker, sat phone, AIS etc. ...and a reliable skipper

Great-- so the boat is good. What about yourself as the skipper? What are your sailing experiences and time owning this boat? Also your gender, age, whether you are part of a sailing club or group? all things that will help potential crew feel comfortable about doing a trip with you.

We are sorry to hear of your sailing partner's illness and hope you'll be able to find another suitable sailing partner.

Fair winds

Smile Circumnavigation

I am 60. Male.
Sailing since 1974, (when the Dinosaurs were still alive) in the cold waters of the Baltic, then the Med - Italy, Greece, Montenegro, Croatia, Indian Ocean - from Darwin to Freemantle, Pacific - Great Barrier Reef and around Sydney.
Atlantic - from Gibraltar to Morocco and Canaries.
On the current boat I was sailing from Portugal to Montenegro non stop.
I am former diplomat, non smoker, easy going, can cook... and do salsa! I belong to the SailingNetwork. I am an Offshore Skipper, certified by the Polish Sailing Association.

What else? the idea behind the plan to circumnavigate the World is to make as many stopovers as possible and to see as much as possible. I'd prefer to have three crew with me, but one is the minimum.
So, welcome aboard!

Best of luck in gathering a crew of a couple people to go along and help you. So much better to sail with other people.
