Default Netherlands to Venice

Excellent opportunity for crew seeking mile building and/or passage-making experience to join our voyage, in S/V Gabriel a 39' Wauquiez Amphora, from Northern Germany to Italy (Venice, tbc).

Happy for crew to join for individual legs, (Belgium-UK, UK-La Coruna, Portugal-Spain, Spain- Balearics, Sicily/Italy, Adriatic etc.), or entire voyage. We will be making various stops along the way in locations with good transport links for flights, as well as rest and relaxation. This is not a hard-nosed commercial delivery but more a relaxed and enjoyable voyage for all on-board to bring Gabriel safely to her new home in Italy.

Happy to consider various experience levels depending on the leg, for the Amsterdam to UK or Bay of Biscay crossing we would like a minimum RYA Day Skipper with something like 2k nm which includes offshore multi-day (48hrs+) non-stop passages with solo night watches. But for other legs we may consider less experienced crew. As always on a sailing boat it is personality that makes all the difference, pulling together as a team and having a sense of humour.

Your ad is a little incomplete per the guidelines--

What is the cost share for the potential crew? Also how many crew will be aboard and are you the boat's owner? Finally, any children or pets aboard?

Thanks and good luck with your trip.

Travel expenses are negotiable and the only contribution required is towards your food.

Below are indicative passages, with distance/durations and potential commencement dates, that represent a framework upon which we will develop the actual voyage plan. This is to assist you in deciding which legs you would like to participate in depending on your dates of availability. We may not necessarily stop at all these specific ports, we may make shorter or longer passages depending upon crew ability, and joining/departing destinations with transport links for flights will also influence the actual route travelled.

I'm afraid that we are not able to accept people with little or no sailing experience.
