When you blow up the image in Photoshop, you see the pixels around the crab on the trash can are all black w/o relief to match the rest of the trash can.

However--wouldn't it be weird to run into a coconut crab of that size?

Trim, with your sushi classes and focus on eating things...I'm beginning to think I want to be on your boat since I bet the crew would be well-fed

I read somewhere that it was a $3000 fine for each crab...also read that they taste something like a cross between Lobster and Crab.

Ah it was Wikipedia: Large numbers roam freely in the British-owned Chagos Archipelago, also known as the British Indian Ocean Territories (BIOT). They are protected on these islands from being hunted and/or eaten, with fines of up to 1,500 British pounds (roughly $3,000 USD) per crab consumed. On Mauritius and Rodrigues, they are extinct.[11]

It seems that the pictures from Chagos might condict the statement...or maybe not

An Yes...anyone on our boat gets well fed. The focus of our days while cruising will be on hunting for and preparing food. Mind you however, we will never take more than we can eat or keep fresh.
