No Probs- they do show what one can face if determined to go out in conditions like that.

The only issue is that many cruisers who are out in the far oceans will not have the download speed at internet cafes or on their boats to enjoy.

We're in port right now, so I clicked on the links. The first one reminded me of our trip down from San Francisco, though, fortunately, we weren't over-canvased nor are we a fast boat. And only a few of times did the bow slip under a wave or two and fill the deck. But with gusts to 47, it got a little rough out there and the seas were confused and larger than I'd ever seen them. It was so breezy, we never did raise our main, sailing under jib and mizzen alone, and we made it in 4.5 days to Ensenada.

SV,

Sails like that give you something to talk about besides our weak knees, backs, and any pain in general.

I love the shot of the grinder in orange in the first clip. The deck is awash, and he casually looks around, and then continues to grind.

Ah to be young, strong, and have all that stamina back. I would quickly volounteer for a crew position!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
