Question South pacific passages.

Hello every one! Iím new here and just had a few questions. This year I would love to sail some passages in the south pacific and I want to know where the best ports in the United States are to find captains sailing there. And what is the best time of year to look for deck hand positions? Any answers would be very much appreciated, thank you.
