Howdy Folks from Washington,NC on the hard getting this Col. 9.6 ready for sea duty. Having a blast and with good folks here at McCotters Marina on the Pamlico River in North Carolina/ Hope to sail back to Hawaii for my second journey, the first was towing the 9.6 from Norfolk to NC with a Triumph 120 CC Yacht Tender on the hip. OK, Visualize Whirled Peas and see me later!Click image for larger version

Hey Woodymr, I think your Columbia 9.6 is the same hull as my Kettenburg 32 is that correct? I like my boat and have done a lot to the interior to make it more liveabord friendly. The only problem I have with it is the wineglass stern which will allow it to "hobbyhorse" in the right sea conditions. When this is happening I go nowhere fast. Have tried several sail combinations and the only relief is to motor out of it. Do you have the same problem and if so any suggestions? Suggestions from other readers?

My son lives in Albermarle NC but is not a sailor. I do get back there from Washington State once or twice a year NC is a great state.
