Hi to you all. I am a lucky owner of a Fastnet 34 based in the Solent UK. Just like all proud parents!!!!! she is a fantastic yacht and has looked after us in some unpleasant weather. The umbilical cord is still attached, but one day she and I will begin our journey to who no's where.

Happy and safe sailing to you all and I look forward to engaging in useful banter soon.

Welcome aboard. Good to have you here with this very international and very knowledgeable crew.

The Solent is certainly an extremely good "practice" ground for world cruising.

Make yourself at home - the beers are on member "Marianne" today.

Ditto to the welcome from me as well. You will find a wealth of info on this site and the folks are not only knowledgeable but helpful to boot.

Hi welcome aboard! It's great to meet another solent local. Where's your home base?

G'Day also and welcome,

We ourselves have our boat also in the Solent. Seen the winter through parked up in Lymington and off back south this coming June.

Cheers

JOHN
