I am not yet a sailer, I am still enjoying my stink boat, but when we, (wife and I), start cruising we will be hanging at least a bit of rag to help us on our way. A few years away yet, but I will enjoyiong reading and learning from your exploits. Thankyou in advance.

Welcome aboard, Wookie,

How long do you think it might be before you'll be cruising? Have you started a "wish list" of places to go and things you'd like to be able to do with a sailing vessel?

What sort of motor boat do you presently have? Is it something you can do coastal cruising with now?

G'Day guys and welcome.

As an expat Oz could not help but knock on the hull of 40 foot power yacht with an SA rego and name on the stern - but anchored in Greece!

Seems they did it with short hops, and carried 44 gallon drums for longer ones, but had sailed on their own keel from Adelaide.

Got severely turped with them, and they left before we got up next day. So name simply not remembered.

But goes to show you don't need to wait for the sailboat..........

Cheers

JOHN
