Hello everyone,

I've just gotten myself a sailboat. I've never sailed before. I'm looking for advice, friends, help, and a place to start. I've worked offshore on ships for three years as part of a scientific crew, but I still don't know anything about sailing.

So, hello again. Looking forward to talking with this community!

Welcome aboard and congratulations on your boat. Feel free to ask whatever questions you want and I am sure that there will be someone here who can assist.

Make yourself at home.

Thank you for the welcome. I posted in the crewfinder forum, but I didn't include the details of the trip I'm planning. I can't reply to my post with the details. I should start a new topic, maybe?

You should be able to post replies and new topics in the crewfinder now. Good luck.

Where is the new boat based? Make and size.... would be useful. If you are in Sarasota area, that would be good.
