Hello to all,
About two months ago, I decided to leave my life behind me for a little while and travel a bit, but not your conventional traveling, something different. So I decided to go with hitch hiking. And so, I've hitch hiked from Calgary, Alberta (Canada) to Vancouver, BC and then down the coast, to San Diego, meeting numerous people along the way and living the highway life.
A friend of mine is in Hawaii presently, and she wants me to visit her (she will be there for only a Month). So I started getting interested in what would be the cheapest way to do so, from San Diego, or even LA. I found out about the sea hitch hiking and wondering of my chances to get on a boat to try to reach Hawaii and maybe even make some money while I'm at it, which would greatly simplify my traveling.
I'm a fast learner, and adjustable personality, that can be comfortable in any environment. I'm a good handyman too and really enjoy every minute of what I'm presently doing, which is traveling. I do have to get back to Montreal by mid-august, and so, in the best of worlds, I'd love to sail to Hawaii, spend some time there and then use the money to by a plane ticket to get back home, resuming my summer like this. I have one last year to my bachelor in Political Science, before going for bigger and longer adventures. I was hoping to gain some experience which might be useful for those bigger adventures.
Hopefully, I will find some help, no matter where it comes from.
Best regards to all,
Drake
