Hi, we are Jim and Sue and we have been sailing our Beneteau 393 from Rhode Island to the Bahamas for two years. Prior to retirement, we spent five years outfitting the boat so we would be comfortable in the warmer climes during the winter. Well, that plan failed to add heat to the plan. We would have been warmer in New England but there we would not have had so many great adventures, nor would we have met so many varied and wonderful people. It has been very fulfilling wandering from anchorage to anchorage. We are looking forward to many comfortable years in southern waters.

In the summers we put the boat on the hard and travel the north american continent by motorcycle, tenting as we go. Life could not be better.

Looking forward to meeting each and every one of you some time in the future.

Jim

Well, Spiny Plum great for making Slow Gin.

What sort of bikes do you use in Summer? With a trailer?

Welcome aboard Jim and Sue - good to have you here.

Make yourselves at home as you're amongst like-minded friends.

Help yourselves to a drink - "JeanneP" is buying this week.

Welcome!

The special is my new-found dessert wine, Maine Blueberry wine!

Have a great time reading the old posts AND starting a few threads of your own. We look forward to learning about you and your cruising plans.

Fair winds,

Brenda and David

We ride a BMW R1200RT, two up and usually travel between 10.000 and 13,000 miles each summer. By the time we get done, living on a boat is the height of luxury.
