Hello everybody.

Although we have already written one post on this forum, we have not introduced ourselves here, Sorry

We are a married copuple living in the Bieszczady Mountains (south eastern part of Poland)

But besides walking the hills, we like climbing the waves, so we have a sail yacht in Gdansk (Baltic Sea)

The boat is a French amateur and quite unusual construction - Trismus 37.

Over 11 meters long, 1 meter draft, very long keel and 2 daggerboards. One in the middle of the hull and one under the cockpit.

Not easy to manage in harbors (doesn't turn fast) but great when sailing on big waves with the wind from the back.

We sail on the Baltic mostly.

Wishing you fair winds

Agnieszka and Wlodek Bilinscy

Welcome Agnieszka and Wlodek.

Four years ago Peter and I joined a flotilla of 7 PDQ power catamarans in cruising the Baltic. Unfortunately, with only two months to get from Rauma, Finland to Amsterdam, we had to zoom along, so I know we didn't do the area justice. Still, it was a wonderful trip for us, and it has a lot to offer cruising yachts.

We look forward to hearing more about that cruising ground, and if you could kindly help with placing some information into the Cruising Wiki, all sailors would benefit from your knowledge.

Fair winds,

Jeanne
