Hi, Everyone,

Susan and I live in the UK, and are building our business to the point where we can cast it, and ourselves, adrift, and do some serious sailing.

As a first step we have enrolled on some serious education classes (we're off to do our RYA Day Skipper this November, in the Solent), and we've joined Cruiser Log in the hope of finding some crewing positions to give us more experience.

James is 60, and has been sailing since he was 17; Susan is younger (and much better looking), but has fewer sailing miles in her logbook (at the moment!)

Welcome aboard James and Susan - great to have you join this friendly crew. I'm sure that you will learn as much here as I do every day.

Good luck with your RYA course - a sensible step towards realising your dreams of the cruising lifestyle.

Welcome - the beers are on "redbopeep" today.

Hi Guys,

Suggest you hunt around the local clubs for crew spots on race boats if you want to get our reguarly this winter. If you want an intro to Lymington Town Sailing Club can do - but suspect you'd find spots also via Royal Southampton.

We're only moored at Lymington ourselves, but no plans to really get away until next spring. If you are still looking when the next Round the Island Race is on - give us a shout (via pm)

Cheers

JOHN
