Hi... new to the forum and new sailboat owners. Bought a 28ft Morgan, completely gutted it and starting from scratch, so this site will be a lot of help for us. From just looking over a few of the forums, we've already got some answers to our questions! I'm sure there will be many, many more over the next couple years as we re-do our boat. Glad to be a member!

Welcome aboard Nomad - good to have you here.

What work have you done on the boat and what do you still have planned.

Make yourself at home!

I have ripped out the interior, engine and all the portlights. In the coming months, I will start resealing the hull to deck joint and fiberglass over it; strip all deck gear, sand & re-paint deck and put in all new opening portlights. So far that's the goal for '09.

Welcome from me too Nomad.

I hope you will find whatever information you need here on our friendly forum. If there is something you can't find the answer to then just ask. This boat is down the gunwales with really knowledgeable crew members.

Good luck with your "little" project. That should keep you out of trouble for a while
