Permission to Board?
Greetings, all -
I've been a member for a while to sate the longing I've had from being away from boats and the ocean. Yesterday I bought a Farallon 29, and made the decision to orient my life back towards the water again. She's, well, let's just call it a clear canvas. Many of these boats were sold in kit form, and I get the impression that she's been passed down as a series of unfulfilled dreams. She's got a smattering of bluewater features, such as upsized rigging, dual headstays, mast steps and the like. On the other hand, there's no anchor rode storage, no through-hulls save the cockpit drain, and all the lazarette comparments are fully open to the interior. I'm hoping to find other owners who might be able to share their interiors and experiences; things they like and things they'd change.
Fair winds,
Greg
