Hi all,

Novice cruiser here, from Shropshire, UK. I did a Day Skipper course at my local college a couple of years back just for fun, and ended up getting hooked.

Since then I've done Day Skipper practical (and kids did Comp Crew), and did a flotilla holiday in Greece last summer. 2 more med flotillas booked for this summer. Will then be looking to bareboat charter a bit further afield.

Mrs telfordmike is coming with us this summer - she's done a lot of dinghy sailing, but has never set foot on a yacht in her life

Welcome here Mike - great that you have joined this friendly crew.

It is easy to get hooked on sailing isn't it?

Make yourself at home.

Welcome to this group Mike. I do most of my sailing in Greece so if you ever need anything ...

And yes, sailing is a very addictive sport, and cruising is even more so.

Ah, the Mrs. Telfordmike will likely love it

Yachting is sooooo much easier than doing a good job with the dinghy sailing!

Keep a sailing tender with the boat so you can enjoy both small and large boat sailing during your travels

Welcome to you and the Mrs.

Brenda

G'Day Guys,

Can I add my welcome also? I'm sure if your lady has sailed little boats the bigger ones will be a doddle.......so good to have you all on board and look forward to your further input.

Cheers

JOHN
