Hi all!

I'm Tore Christiansen, presently living in beautiful Costa verde,Brazil, a holiday and yachting area half-way between Rio and Santos.

I am running a marine consultancy service here and otherwise sharing my experience within the marine field with my fellow yachtsmen.

Being a now retired captain from the Norwegian Merchant fleet and a yacht charter operator in Norway with my beloved and sadly missed m.y. Eight Bells

I have many 'yarns' to tell . I also spent some 20 years in the UK travel industry,so you could say 'I've been around.'

Looking forward to join the merry crew of CruiserLog...

Best regards

Tore

Welcome aboard. While I can't currently offer you a real beer, that may change one day. For an electronic beer we have an 80/-, a Ale style of the German Black beers (deep malty and roasted flavour) and just coming out of the aging status is a Whit. Going into ageing (a three week process minimum) this week are an English Pale and a House recipe Stout. So Name what you like and be welcome and enjoy.

Hi Michael..

Now there's a proper welcoming gesture from 'Auld Reekie', and where's your Whiskey if I might add? Saving it for a rainy day?

I was married to a Scottish lass from Edinburgh for 32 years until she passed away. Lived at Morningside for 2 years and 18 in Twickenham,London.

Sailed down the Thames every year for my holidays up the East coast or around the Foreland and down to Cornwall. Many good memories

Tore
