Welcome aboard!

Just to satisfy my curiosity, J.H. Davis - any relation to John Howard Davis, designer of the GP14 dingy? (if I remember rightly)

Cheers // Stephen

Wow no idea, my father did some research on our family line and found some pirates but im not sure about the dingy builder? I'll do some research on that, I just cant wait to start doing some sailing, I would love to do a delivery out of south africa to get some experiance, I have already done my deckhand course with Sunsail south africa Durban.. . Any advice? or any knowledge of a delivery somewhere. My plan is basically to get a paid position ASAP so that i can do my ocean skippers course and then move on from there..

I'm afraid you may find that you will need ALL your tickets first before possibly finding a paid position. There are so many aspiring crewmembers looking for positions just to build up seatime towards their tickets that want the seatime without payment. All part of the qualifying path.

However, good luck with finding something.
