The plan was to sail to southern waters last fall, but medical difficulties got in the way and postponed the trip for six months. Blackthron is currently in wet storage in Connecticut. We have been outfitting our Beneteau 393 for three years in preparation for our retirement and Carribean shakedown cruise. The plan is to wander wherever for the winter months and motorcycle everywhere else for the summer months. Balancing two warm weather endeavors to get total enjoyment from both is challenging, to say the least. Only time will tell the final story. We will see where the winds will blow us.

Jim

Welcome aboard! Hopefully you'll be able to throw off the dock lines soon and begin to enjoy adventures aboard your sailboat. CT has some lovely sailing so as soon as the weather warms a bit, sailing your local waters will hopefully resume as an enjoyable local adventure, too
