I'm looking to get my first experience sailing this winter. i am really excited for this opportunity.

A contract I am in is ending, and being from Canada I have had enough winters shoveling snow, this year I will skip out.

On my profile there is a longer description of what I'm looking for and what I have to offer. I'm really glad to have found such a helpful website, adn to be connected with all you lovley sailors!

I do have a general question; I'm a very good guitar player, think it would be good amusment on the ship but i've heard that it's too cumbersome to bering a guitar. Any thoughts?

Can;t wait to get to know some of you!

Welcome aboard "kdk" - good to have you here.

I read your profile and I suggest that you make a post in the crewfinder section. Good luck with your plans and I hope that you will keep us all updated here.

Make yourself at home - the wine is on "redbopeep" the whole weekend.

G'Day kdk,

Welcome also and good luck with the plan.

I think the guitars a nice touch, but you'll need to be sure and pick biggish yacht to crew on.

Cheers

JOHN

I have taken friends on short cruises that play guitar. It is a pretty sound to come wafting across an anchorage. Especially if have a voice to go with it. The couple I bought Imagine from allowed me to stay with them for one week before I took over the boat. He played guitar, and harmonica. There would be small hand claps, and thanks yous coming from the anchorage in St. Maarten..............i2f
