Hello to everyone, Im a newbie here and pretty new to sailing. I reside in the Great Lakes and have been restoring an old Tartan 26 Midget Ocean Class Racer. Home port is AuGres, Mi on Lake Huron. I hope to sail around the Great Lakes for a few years and then perhaps finding a bigger live aboard and try some Carribean Sailing. Time will tell.

Im looking forward to looking around and seeing what I may be able to learn here, looks like an excellent site.

Welcome aboard!

There is some great sailing to be had on the Great Lakes! You could spend a lifetime and never get tired of it...well, I suppose the wintertime Icesailing might be a bit much?

Fair winds,

Hello Dirtdug welcome to Cruiser Log,

What's on Tap? Red has some excellent mulled wine at just the right temperature for Lake Huron.
