I'm attending graduate school in LA for Channel Islands archaeology, namely on San Nicolas. I'm lucky to be one of the few that have spent time on that island!

We're looking for a good liveaboard situation, and its hard to find liveaboard slips for a 30'; plus, we're practically up on the Oregon border, so getting down there to poke around is difficult.

Anyone with tips, stories, anecdotes, or advice on living aboard in LA, we'd love to hear from you!

Thanks,

Rebekka and Chris

Hi Rebekka!

Glad to see you posting on the CL and can't wait to hear about your Channel Islands adventures once your research gets underway. I'm sure that once you're done with that graduate degree and have spent time cruising around the Channel Islands, you'll be ready for your longer range cruising plans as well.

I hope that some folks with experience living aboard in the LA/Orange County areas will pop up and give you some info soon

Fair winds,

Brenda and David

I will be sub-leasing my live aboard slip if you're interested.

You'll be subleasing? Where and for how much?

Thanks

Rebekka
