It was good to see in last months Cruising Helmsman that the Bundaberg Mid Town Marina is back and operational. It was one of my favourites.

Almost exactly a year ago we spent a few days there on our way down the coast and loved it all. Being miles up the river, in the middle of a country town was wonderful, great chandlery (spent more that I should have) and the people were terrific. Hope all of the good vibes come back too - not just the facilities.

Some links to when it all disappeared, Christmas day and boxing day.

It would be nice maramarra if you could share your info of the Bundaberg Marina on our cruising wiki. This way other cruisers can benefit from your knowledge.

Default Gone again

More floods, and much worse for Bundaberg, so assume the Marina will have gone again. Poor buggers in the town, having to deal with it all again and worse, only 2 years later. Heart goes out to them all.

Have recently passed through Bundaberg. Mid Town Marina has vanished completely, but the marina at the Heads is fine. It was great to see Sorcerer on hard there, looking good as new after her trauma in the floods. Bundaberg is still a great place to visit.
