Finally solved my dilemma with a 10 ' 2 Walker Bay Air floor roll up. The price was great and the touch and feel seemed the best compromise. So now on to a best match of outboard. My plan is to tow the inflatible most of the time, and I'm having a Nova lift installed so that the motor weight is less of an issue.
I anticipate use to be mostly to and from shore, with three people and "stuff". I've thought of the lower speed 4 to 5 hp with internal tanks since the fuel tank is one less thing to move/store. But I wouldn't mind a little more horsepower (an 8 hp was recommended). How do folks deal with fuel tank storage etc. while under way? Any thoughts about the right HP, best value and internal vs external most appreciated!!!
And thanks to those that helped with my "dingy dilemma"!
