emayd, thank you for these photos. They are beautiful. I'm never going to sail to that part of the world, and I think I might be missing something extraordinary.

Again, thank you.

Yes, thank you so much. This is a reminder to my husband and I that we dream of sailing North to see these extraordinary sights. Jeanne, you'll have to join us when we do

Amazing, especially off a 5.8 metre open platform catamaran from Ukraine to Greenland, some 5,000++ nm away. The outboard couldn't be much bigger than 10hp. Ukraine's only connection with the sea is the Black Sea - an inland sea, very far from Greenland. The catamaran is a Ducky 19, Can be carried in 4 separate bags to get it on an aircraft.Click image for larger version

Hi guys, it wasn't trip from Ukraine to Greenland.

It was by plane from Kiev to Kulusuk, and then two weeks sailing.

Ducky-19 packs in four bags and can be transported as baggage by plane.

same as for Canada trip - http://www.inflatable-catamarans.com...a/2008/travel/

It was about 1000 euro for my boat with equipment from Frankfurt to Vancouver and back.
