I've been monitoring the market for my first full size sailing cat and I came across a boat approx 33' that had beautiful sleek lines and was powered by outboards. Unfortunately, I have forgotten what model it was. I've searched everywhere without a trace. I'm hoping someone out there can help me track this model down. The pics I saw had a green hull and sailbag.

Thanks,

Michael

G'day 'Canuck' aka 'mdhatt' - Dundee, N.S., Can. Am ex-pat Canuck. Now in Australia. Spent 60 plus years on the waterfront & a lot of that time involved in the 'multi-hull scene. Firstly we need some links to where we can see some pictures of 'said yacht'. There are a lot of people in 'forums' that will help you out here - out of some 13,000 members - we'll name the boat - I'm sure. Good luck !! Secondly, would you please - fill in your 'profile' as it helps all of us to know who you are & then we will be more helpful in assisting with your search. Have a look at my profile - Silver Raven - which allows people to figure out just who I am & thus whether they wish to pay any attention to what I have to say. Thanks there bloke & y'all have a great day. By the way, I sail a Hobie 17' Super Sports & am adding a new jib & spinnaker to it for this season. Good sailing to you & everybody else. Ciao, from down-under, james

Hello Michael,

You don't say where saw this Cat - on the internet ? or on the water somewhere ?

The only characteristics = +/- 33ft - with outboard engines ?

The colour of course could be any.

If you could add some more info - we might get somewhere.

In the meantime a couple of sites worth exploring :- http://www.multihull-maven.com

and http://www.yachtworld.com

Enter as much info as possible and check the sites that show good photos of the stern of the boat.

PS A number of Australian designs use outboards - A Thailand design "the Andaman Cabriolet" also uses outboards :- see here http://www.catamaransailingphuket.com/ this one is around 38ft, which is about the limit for outboards.

Good Hunting.

Richard

The lines reminded me a lot of a Fountaine Pajot. I saw it in a brokerage magazine from Florida. I'm thinking it was 33' but could have fallen anywhere in the 31' to 39' range.
