I am glad some countries have the guts to fight back. Well done India.

In our decadent part of the world, we are more worried about being politically correct and not offending anyone than saving the lives of our seamen.

It was said in the U.K. that, "It is upon ships and seamen that the wealth, strength and safety of our country chiefly depend". Those days must be well and truly gone as the old maritime powers, whilst having ships in the area, are showing the flag rather than getting down to some good old gun-boat diplomacy.

To all politicians I can only say, "Apathy does not make great statesmen. Does anyone seriously think we can have a policy of appeasement with the pirates? You will be remembered the way Chaimberlain is rememberd - as being the ones who did nothing".

Aye // Stephen
