Default Marine Industry Vendors

We've had this thread for a while but it has been under used. It's purpose is to provide a place for our members who are marine industry vendors to provide a little bit of information about themselves.

I'm personally very interested in the businesses that you all may have and how you've been able to support cruisers. Please feel free to post a bit about yourself here including a link to your site. Since we don't allow for commercial links in the signatures of folks who post on the forum, this provides a place for you to share your site with the forum community.

We look forward to your non-commercial participation in the general forums and we hope that our community will also come to your threads here in this vendor forum to learn more about you.

Fair winds,

Default BoatSmith Inc. We Build Your Dreams

I am David Halladay the owner of BoatSmith. Started out here in Palm Beach as mobile yacht carpenter in 2000. We still do a lot of marine carpentry now as well as some select architectural woodwork. We also build custom boats in both wood and fiberglass. We build sailing catamarans and custom power yachts. We have a very nice facility close to Cracker Boy boatyard in Riviera Beach.

Solar panels are a consumer item available on eBay these days. I doubt your quality control would negate the expense of a specialist product, especially after seeing the failure rate of such products under real world conditions (ref: Webb Chiles' blog)
