Want to learn how to cross the Atlantic from the Caribean to Gran Canaria

Hi, my name is Jan Lelie and I am from Holland. As a former Naval Acadamy Student I allways dreamt of crossing the Atlantic by sailboat. I have some experience on board, crossed the North Sea to England and spent a lot of time on boats as a child. Hi Dan,

Thanks for your answer. I am 41 years old and currently living in Cali, Colombia with my wife and 3 children (15,12 and 4 years), where I work in a private company for VAS Telecom; SMS and IVR platforms for Mobile operators. I come from Holland, from a small town near the sea, Vlissingen, which created my interest for sailing. I lived in Holland untill I finished with the RNLMC (Marines) and since then I am living in Cali. This is a very short version.
