Hey, Has anyone out there run into Ken Neumeyer ? Some of you might know him because of his book: " sailing the farm " a guide to homesteading. I ran into him years ago and would like to see him again. He is a very interesting person. He has been living on his sailboat for many years I understand.

I am sorry to report that Ken Neumeyer was in a very serious car accident in around 1982 and suffered some brain damage which left him unable to continue sailing. He now resides in jensen Beach Florida with his parents and sister, and I am sure would love to hear from friends and fans who still remember his adventures, his intelligence and his far ahead of his time thoughts on sustainability.

This is very sad to hear! I am just re-reading his amazing book after many years now and was hoping that he had proceeded with the great self-sustaining food work. The enourmous potential of eating the many highly nutritious seeweeds has many implications for future options for good and healthy life. I admire this man and hope he will be writing more... His work is now a great inspiration for me! Thank you, Ken!
