I am looking for crew to help sail my boat to Asia this year. I usually sail single handed but am getting bored with my own company. The boat is a steel Van Dam Nordia Ketch. You do not need to be particularly experienced but some prior offshore sailing would be useful. Join the boat in Turkey in the spring. There are 3 seperate cabins and 2 heads. We have dive gear and a compressor on board and will be diving along the way. All you need is a contribution towards your own food and drink. Genuine, happy and Interesting people only please.

Piscosour,
When are you leaving Turkey? When do you expect to arrive in Asia, and where?

48 Year old Yank who has sailed mostly in Thailand and Hong Kong waters and has ASA Keelboat, Costal Cruising and Bareboat certification but only a few night sail watches. Also Padi certified (since 1986) and a decent cook as well as a non-smoker. Looking to crew for 2 weeks to a month (depending on how busy business is) in whatever capacity needed. Interested in your rough plan of when and where you are leaving Turkey and route your thinking of taking. Can reach me on terryfu2000@hotmail.com.

Hi

Please could you let us know how long the trip would be and what date you plan to leave.

My husband has sailed across Atlantic twice and has qualifications.

I have a bit of experience, we are both good cooks, clean and helpful and like the sea.

we are both forty and looking to make a career sailing.

Thanks

As a diving fanatic instructor since 1999 and someone whom knows offshore sailing 2 seasons in med between balaeric islands and french riviera, plus a transat form croatia to St lucia, i am ready to learn more.
I dont know turkey, but asiai travelled in 1996 and have always wanted to return, so yes i would love to get more details form you re deaprture dates, and estimated sailing schedule.
How many folk are you interested in, as my partner would also be keen to join if you stillhad place for 2.
We will be in Cote dazur from end of MArch and the aim was to work the season until october/Novemeber, however like to keep things open for now, so if you have vacanies please do contact me, we can share our cvs, and talk somemore of finer details.

If not have a fab trip, and dive yourself ridiculous. Tor

Greetings from Boston, MA. I'm intereted in the opportunity to sail with you from Turkey. I have some offshore experience (BVI & Med), lived on a sailboat in the Boston area for about 7 years and sailed the Northeast. I'm always eager to learn more...hope to cross the Atlantic one day smile.gif
