I am also in this same frame of mind as srreality, I happened upon this web site from reading The Log and other publications on this way of life...I love to read this positive outlook that I feel...

New yacht Owner and liveaboard hopeful

I live in the L.A. area and because the kids are now moving out, I'm looking for a 40-55 ft yacht to buy and live on at the marina...I don't want to maintain one of these over priced and under built...
