I have no idea about the design, but an Internet search shows that it appears to be one of those wood / epoxy boats, that was built on or near a beach on the island of Mayotte.

I was informed today that the catamaran, Le Mangue Bleue, has been lost somewhere between Mayotte and Madagascar. 4 POB with two rescued in the liferaft. Apparently the other two were not able to...
